When comparing weights: instead of cutting corners Santana combines larger-yet-lighter frame tubes (stronger alloys drawn to thinner gauges) with heavier tandem-specific components to create identically-light bikes with a superior blend of stiffness, comfort, reliability and speed. Because all Santana tandems are handmade in our California factory, weights may vary slightly from tandem to tandem.
